Forthcoming Adventure - Manali Camp

Manali is the most Fascinating resort of the Kullu Valley amidst snow covered peaks of the Himalaya. The nearby countryside, villages and ancient temples are the truly beautiful and not to be missed. It is an extremely picturesque place, surrounded by huge pine trees at the side of the gurgling torrents of the river beas.

With a mix of various communities like Kullus, Kashmiris, Ladakhis etc. the total population of Manali is around 4000. The paradisiacal valley is situated at an altitude of 1950 meters. The overall climate of the area is very rejuvenating and refreshing; however, the winters are pretty cold with temperatures going down below zero degree centigrade along with heavy snowfalls. Manali offers a host of adventure sports such as skiing, heli-skiing, trekking, hiking, paragliding, river crossing, rafting, kayakingor mountain biking. There are good hikes and treks to Beas Kund, Manalsu Nalla, Hamta Pass, Malana village and Parvati Valley, among others. One of the best treks is from Solang Valley on to Dhundhi, from there to Dussar lake and then onwards to Manali. It is advisable to take a guide on this five-day excursion.

Campers will stay at the heights between 6,000ft and 10,000ft.
